The Community Investing Toolkit for the Faith Community, recently released by the Social Investment Forum, was developed to address the growing demand from religious investors for a community investing resource focused on the faith community.  The guide grew out of a 2007 roundtable discussion of 25 representatives from various religious institutions. 

You are invited to take part in an engaging discussion on increasing Community Investing!

Who: Social Investment Forum Community Investing Working Group members, Forum members and SRI in the Rockies conference attendees.

What: A pre-conference working group meeting organized by the Community Investing Program, a joint project of the Social Investment Forum and Co-op America. We'll discuss the Double the Members - Double the Assets in community investing strategy and taking the 1% or More in Community investing campaign to the next level.

When: November 3rd 2007, 10AM-12PM (mountain time) at the Hyatt Tamaya.

The Community Investing Breakfast is an excellent opportunity to network with fellow community investing advocates and get up to speed on the success of the 1% or more campaign, and the new focus on the 2% or more in Community Investing allocation. Learn about the Community Investing Program's 2007 efforts to implement its "Double the Members-Double the Assets" campaign, by urging other networks especially the faith-based community to adopt the 1% or more in Community campaign as their own initiative for their constituencies. Learn about the outcomes of the 2007 Telephonic Brownbags and the latest content on the online Community Investing E-news. This is your chance to participate in shaping the program's 2008 strategy to further increase the assets directed to Community Investing.
